ClassBite
ClassBite is a school project where I prototyped a meal management app designed for students, offering a convenient way to manage and customize their school meals. The app provides a weekly meal plan that can be easily tailored to fit each user’s dietary preferences and allergies. After creating an account, students receive notifications when new meal plans are available, allowing them to quickly adjust meals that don’t align with their diet. ClassBite aims to make school meal management simple, personalized, and hassle-free.

Problem Statement
Students often struggle to stay on top of their school meals, especially when managing dietary preferences or allergies. The lack of a streamlined system to customize meals according to personal needs results in missed meals or consuming meals that don't fit their dietary restrictions. ClassBite was developed to solve this issue by providing an easy-to-use platform for managing school meals.
02
Solution
The solution was to design a user-friendly app prototype that allows students to view their weekly school meal plans, check detailed information on each meal, and customize options based on their preferences. The app also features automatic notifications when a new meal plan is available and reminds users if they need to change meals that don't match their dietary restrictions. With a clean interface and simple navigation, students can confirm or adjust their meals with just a few taps.

Competitive Analysis
While some schools offer meal information through static websites or paper menus, ClassBite distinguishes itself by offering a more interactive and personalized experience. Competitors that offer similar services often lack the functionality for meal customization based on dietary restrictions, which makes ClassBite stand out in terms of catering to individual needs. Additionally, ClassBite’s integration of real-time notifications keeps users informed, something that many other platforms lack.
Weaknesses: Although ClassBite offers significant customization features, it may not yet include advanced integrations such as syncing with external dietary apps or allowing parents to manage their children’s meals. Additionally, as a prototype built within the constraints of a school project, the app may lack scalability or integration with various school systems that larger meal management platforms might provide.

Result
ClassBite effectively provides a tailored and efficient meal management system for students. The simple and intuitive design allows users to easily navigate their weekly menus, adjust meals, and receive timely notifications. Early feedback from testing indicates that the app’s functionality greatly improves the user experience, making it easier for students to ensure their meals match their dietary needs. The prototype demonstrates the potential for ClassBite to offer a more personalized and accessible solution for school meal management, setting it apart from traditional methods.
